No seriously… it really is a testament to the perfection of Colin’s face that so many photographers want to take such stunning close-ups of him. I don’t remember seeing so many of one actor over such a short career.

I’m sorry friends, it is a shock, but that most likely is Ariel. Trust me, I was hoping for something a little more androgenous, and without ‘sag’, but Ariel does turn into a harpy in ONE scene (don’t worry, it’s not too long!”.
Let’s try to remember that this isn’t BBC drama lighting and flattering camera angles.
This is raw theatre, where actors, very skilled ones like Colin, become their character, even non-human ones! I’m sure he’ll get teased, but it’s his craft and he’s willing to take risks. He’s already played a female character, and while I buried my head when I first saw him, I was soon able to admire his courage and ability to pull it off.
I’m quite sure that most of the people who bought tickets to see Colin will leave the theatre realizing that they not only saw Colin, they saw a great Shakespearian actor too.
